Sales Executive, K12 Learning Solutions, East

itslearning is a growing tech platform developed for students and teachers that delivers a personalized learning experience. They are looking for an experienced Sales Executive with demonstrated success closing large, complex Enterprise software deals. The Sales Executive will be a self-starter with the ability to generate their own sales activity and develop a healthy pipeline.

Job Description/Major Responsibilities

  • Responsible for new business sales growth of a leading learning management system (LMS) platform within K-12 Education
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in public school districts with over 10,000 students.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with current technology and instructional trends as they relate to improved teaching and learning practices
  • Deliver professional sales presentations to demonstrate how the company’s technology can effectively improve learning outcomes
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets for new business
  • Develop and maintain a full business pipeline of prospective clients and systematically drive to close
  • Maintain timely and accurate reporting of the pipeline, account plans, and territory management activities

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years Enterprise software sales experience
  • Experience selling in long sales-cycle environments (6 mo.+)
  • Proven success with solution-based selling and preferably Challenger sales methodology
  • Experience presenting technology both online and face-to-face
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Self-starter who can generate high volume of sales activity
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Regional travel required
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Established relationships with high level decision- makers (i.e., Superintendents, Curriculum Directors, CIO’s) a plus
  • Active membership in professional association(s) for K-12 technology leaders a plus
