Are you a self-starter who is excited to build product marketing for a leading literacy provider?
Reading Horizons is where reading momentum begins. Their goal is to help all students read proficiently by the end of third grade by supporting educators with science based, tech-enabled foundational reading instruction. This rapidly growing education innovator is seeking a Product Marketing Manager who is passionate about improving educational outcomes.
This pivotal, new role will ensure customer-facing team members, including sales, marketing, customer enablement, and operations are knowledgeable and effective representatives of Reading Horizons' offerings to help ensure lifelong reading proficiency.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the ideal candidate will be creative, strategic, and driven to execute innovative product communication programs. They should be a storyteller and leader who can develop and deliver product messaging and value propositions that drive awareness, adoption, and on-going product usage for customers.
Major Responsibilities
- Plan and execute strategic product campaigns, including messaging, sales enablement, and marketing programs, that are in alignment with the Reading Horizon brand and messaging
- Produce new product launch plans to maximize market access and customer impact
- Expand product positioning and key messages that resonate with and excite the customer targets based on insights from the competitive landscape, industry trends, and target markets
- Develop buyer and user personas to assist teams in targeting and messaging the value proposition to the right markets to drive purchase, adoption, and usage
- Partner closely with product team leaders, including product managers, product designers, researchers, and engineers
- Collaborate across sales, marketing, customer enablement, and operations to facilitate product launches, campaign development, and knowledge transfer
- Craft and implement compelling, effective launch assets, product collateral, and sales tools that articulate the value of the Reading Horizons solutions
- Develop and manage an enablement strategy for sales teams to support new and existing customer goals, including content and training
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated Product Marketing experience including effective use of tools and systems
- Contributed to the development and execution of successful new product launches
- Proven track record with K-12 educational products
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- The ability, grit, and organization skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent work experience
- Capability to collaborate remotely
- Remote location, Salt Lake City area a plus
