Yondr is looking for an International General Manager to lead their education efforts across Europe and beyond. This pivotal role will be instrumental in growing Yondr’s presence throughout Europe and other international markets, while also managing a small team of Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with experience in the secondary education market and have a deep understanding of emerging markets. They’ll be an entrepreneurial, aggressive, creative self-starter who is excited about building a new market.

Major Responsibilities

  • Define, lead, and execute Yondr’s international growth strategy ensuring alignment with global business objectives
  • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in key markets, with a focus on the UK and Europe
  • Oversee daily international operations, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with business goals
  • Manage and optimize resources, including staffing, financial, and technological assets.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement
  • Lead and mentor the sales and account management team members to achieve revenue targets and customer satisfaction goals
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
  • Drive the development and execution of sales strategies that align with the education business’s growth objectives
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent by providing career development and performance management that sets people up for success and increases employee engagement
  • Oversee the implementation of a sales training strategy for team, along with the sales manager
  • Actively engage in Yondr’s international business development activities to support the team, nurture relationships, and increase market understanding
  • Contribute as an active member of the global leadership team ensuring alignment with the business strategy and sharing professional knowledge
  • Identify and attend key industry tradeshows

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing P&L for an education business or division
  • Strong understanding of the education services market, including trends, challenges, and opportunities
  • Successful experience building high-performing teams across markets
  • Strong understanding of emerging secondary education markets
  • Outstanding intercultural competencies
  • C2 English language proficiency (verbal and written)
  • Live in UK, with strong preference for London area
  • Multilingual is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
