Teacher Created Materials (TCM) seeks a Regional VP of Sales, West, to cultivate high-performance teams focused on the sales of educational curriculum products into school districts across a defined territory.

At TCM, they’re passionate about developing innovative and imaginative educational materials and services for preK-12 students worldwide. Everything they do is created by teachers for teachers and students to make teaching more effective and learning more fun. Their Sales team works with state, school district and school customers to identify their needs and provide curriculum and professional development solutions.

Major Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on leadership of a regional sales team
  • Develop regional account plans and manages sales pipeline to achieve sales targets and drive successful results
  • Set team member objectives, measure sales activity, and evaluate performance against objectives
  • Recruit, train, and mentor team
  • Responsible for sales of educational curriculum products into K-12 school districts
  • Drive sales opportunities within the assigned territories and accounts
  • Consultative sales of very large deals with sales cycles of 6-9 months
  • Develop new business opportunities leveraging network of customers, current client relationships, and prospect leads
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with responsive account management

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Experienced sales leader with a proven track record of exceeding targets by growing and managing high performing sales teams; outstanding motivator and mentor
  • 5+ years’ experience selling into K-12 education
  • Consultative sales experience closing large district/state-level deals within the K-12 market
  • Able to create and execute complex business plans
  • Strong business and technical knowledge, with Salesforce expertise
  • Must reside in the territory – NV, AZ, UT, ID, MT, WY, ND, SD, OR, WA
  • Must be willing to travel up to 75%, primarily in the Mountain/Pacific NW region
  • Bachelor’s degree required
