Alumni Educational Solutions is searching for a motivated and experienced Sales Director to join their forward-thinking team and lead sales efforts across a large portion of the US market. They will lead a high-performance in-market sales team to bringing cutting-edge furniture solutions to US schools and educational institutions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a dynamic sales team, and developing effective sales strategies. The Sales Director will have a strong understanding of the dealer network, K-12 market, and furniture ecosystem, with experience in managing sales across multiple states.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and drive revenue growth
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team to ensure targets are met and exceeded
  • Monitor team performance through metrics and KPIs, providing regular feedback and implementing improvement plans as needed
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer needs to forecast sales and identify growth opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, partners, and key stakeholders within the K-12 market
  • Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring effective follow-up and closure of opportunities
  • Provide support in securing high-value or strategically important deals including participation in negotiations and leveraging relationships
  • Ensure the team is aware of applicable contracts and RFPs ensuring compliance with local standards and alignment with business objectives
  • Monitor competitor activities and market conditions to inform sales strategies and positioning
  • Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service to align efforts and achieve business goals
  • Prepare regular sales reports and present findings to senior management

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales management and team leadership
  • Strong forecasting and strategic planning skills
  • Extensive knowledge of dealer networks and the K-12 market
  • In-depth understanding of the furniture ecosystem
  • Ability to remotely manage multistate sales operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
