As the company expands to meet growing demand, they are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to help design and implement the complex financial accounting systems and process needed to scale the company.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience with financial modeling and forecasting in a high-growth environment, as well as a solid understanding of GAAP accounting and business processes. The Senior Financial Analyst reports to the Vice President of Finance and will play a key role in the future growth of the company.
Major Responsibilities
- Examine overall financial operations and identify opportunities to create efficiencies in existing processes and compliance
- Prepare and analyze data with the associated reporting, planning and schedules
- Generate accurate and realistic financial forecasts and explain associated variances
- Collaborate with Operations to ensure that operational and financial reports align
- Maintain rolling multi-year financial model that supports the monthly projects, the quarterly reports, and the yearend close
- Assist with preparing and analyzing cost allocations of finance related items to support both current and strategic business initiatives
- Develop and monitor inventory and labor costing while using complex modeling to support finance department and total business
- Lead monthly project reviews acting as a first point of contact for junior finance personnel
- Manage cash flow responsibilities including analysis and overview
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven professional understanding of complex financial accounting systems and processes
- Skilled in financial modelling & forecasting
- Prior experience inputting to a company month end close
- Proficient with Power BI finance & accounting modules and reporting tools
- Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills to synthesize data, analyze trends, and share results
- Familiarity with and motivated by high-growth company environments
- Role requires living and working in the Atlanta, GA area; office is in Conyers, GA
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or related majors
